Eleanor Hullihan

Eleanor Hullihan has been living in new York more or less since 2000. She has performed with John Jasperse (2003-2010), Jennifer Monson, Beth Gill, Jennifer Allen, Miguel Gutierrez, Zeena Parkins, Mecca vazie-Andrews, Sufjan Stevens and Jessica Dessner, and currently dances with Sarah Michelson.  Eleanor had a band with Katy Pyle called asubtout that performed fantasies and dramas at various loft spaces and proper theaters around the New York area. While living in Los Angeles from 2008-2010, Eleanor made a dance with James Kidd and was around for the birth of Pieter.  She also worked as a dance coach for film. Eleanor attended North Carolina School of the Arts for high school, ADF, NYU Tisch (BFA Dance), S.E.A.D., the Kane school of Core Education where she was also a teacher trainer and was a 2010 Danceweb scholar.

Neal Medlyn

Neal Medlyn is a performance artist based in New York whose work has appeared at the New Museum, Dance Theater Workshop, the Kitchen, PS122, the Chocolate Factory and a variety of other venues in New York, across the U.S. and internationally. He is also a dancer and a sound designer and the co-creator and co-host of Our Hit Parade monthly at Joe's Pub.

Marissa Perel

Marissa Perel is a Brooklyn based artist with an interest in the body's relationship to gender, desire and power. Her work explores these dynamics through performance, installation, video and writing. Her work has been presented at DTW, The Chocolate Factory, Movement Research at Judson Memorial Church, and a multitude of clubs, bars and loftspaces.  Perel was a commissioned artist at the Chicago Cultural Center, performed at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Links Hall and various galleries in Chicago. She has been an artist in residence at Earthdance, Ox-Bow School of Art and Spoke Gallery, and has toured across Central Europe.  Perel writes her own performance column, "Gimme Shelter" on the Art21 Blog, and is co-editor of Critical Correspondence through Movement Research. She will be teaching a performance workshop for CLASSCLASSCLASS Spring 2012. She holds a B.A. in Writing and Literature from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University and an M.F.A in Performance and Studio from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

Enrico Wey

Enrico D Wey is a builder with the living laboratory.  He has shown iterations of work since 2006, notably for Danspace's 2009 winter season, at the New Museum, and for the St. Ann's Warehouse Puppet Lab.  He was selected as an LMCC SwingSpace and DTW Fresh Tracks Resident Artist in 2010. Enrico has worked extensively with Team Djordjevich and composer Samuel Stein. Most recently, he was engaged in Ishmael Houston-Jones' Bessie award winning revival of THEM at PS122, Yvonne Meier's Brother of Gogolorez (DSP), and Trajal Harrell/Sarah Sze’s residency at the ICA Boston. Enrico has been a member of South Africa's Handspring Puppet Company since 2004, touring internationally with "Tall Horse" and the William Kentridge-directed opera, "Il Ritorno d'Ulisse."  He is currently puppeteering in the Tony Award winning Broadway show, War Horse, at the Lincoln Center Theater, simultaneously developing a few personal projects. livinglaboratory.org
